Can anybody explain how to get the plus bubble in use ?

I can collect some plus bubbles in each level, and according to the help text it should be possible to use these "plus" bubbles.

I have tried for some time now to figured out have to activate them, can anybody give a hint ?

Plus Bubbles are the opposite of the Poison Bubbles. So when you pop them, instead of taking away 3 bubbles from your ammo, it adds 3 more bubbles. So you just need to pop them and they'll be used right away! You can keep track of how many extra bubbles you've earned with the orange number above your bubble count. Best of luck and have fun!

You are absolute correct, I haven't noticed that the number was going upwards.
