    Dragon egg in inventory but cannot hatch

    I've had the dragon egg for quite some time in inventory. However it has not transferred to he forge to hatch and now I need scales to make adamant. How does the egg from inventory to forge to hatch? All helpful hints welcome!! Thank you all in advance.

    If you got your dragon from the roost, then you should of triggered a new set of quests that will lead you to getting a burning ember from an adventure so You can hatch your dragon egg.
