Took me four months to get all four and the first shard was after six weeks. I just didn't worry about it and collected from it daily. It was a nice surprise each time I got it. I'm approaching the alicorn the same way. Do the adventures and if a part drops- bonus!

I am approaching four months and only have one shard, so agree with other poster, just collect the cash and if you get a shard that is a bonus

The thing about the knowledge shard is without completing the full set, you'll have a hard time collecting mermaid scales and harvesting your crops. I can harvest all fifty of my crops, and still have about ten energies left to collect from other buildings. It took me almost two full months to collect all four, but it is worth the patience.

Feeling your pain. 4+ months, 0 shards. Personally, I think the shards are hoax. I have been given no reason to believe they exist

Mostly looking forward to more mermaid scales. Hopefully not too much longer...
