Placement of rows of thin tables and racks

If you make parallel rows of racks (or thin tables)...do you need to leave room between the rows for people to walk down or does the system allow customers to go down the isle even if you put the rows as close to each other as allowed by the system?

If you want them that close, I'd say they won't be able to walk between them. If you want them to, than put more room in between.

I've never seen them walk down when you have them that close, and I have a few that are. However, the ones that I have like that, the other side is open so they can still see what I have offered.
