sending gifts to neighbours and the grand slam oven

Hi

I have 2 questions. The first is when sending gifts to neighbors say I had asked for springs to build an appliance. If as a daily gift I send a spring to my neighbor does that come out of my inventory?(like is it me giving away the say 7 springs I had accumulated fro the appliance I am building)?And for the Grand Slam I already bought it but in the goal it days build grand slam oven and next to it it says buy so do I need to buy another one?

Gifts sent to neighbors do not come of of your inventory.

So you bought the grand slam oven... but have you built it? If it's still in its box form, it doesn't count. You have to complete the material requirements and then click 'Build It' in order to obtain the actual grand slam oven and check off the goal.
