Non-Animated Animals

I've noticed that 3 of my animals do not animate when I double click them. I emailed support, as I thought there might be a glitch, and they just replied to say not all the animals are animated, as it slows the game down, and I should check out the forum for more info.

This seems a bit odd to me - out of my 93 animals, only 3 don't move - all are primates (which are very animated animals!), and all are premium animals: Red Shanked Douc (cost gems to buy), Mandrill (achievement award, which cost gems to complete) and Chimpanzee (collection reward, also cost gems to complete). All my other monkeys and apes are animated, and look great.

Has anyone else got any of these three animals, and are they animated? Are there any other animals you know of that don't move? Thanks for any info!

This is by design. Not all animals will have animations.

Thanks for your reply. I got the dolphin last night, and that also isn't animated. I guess I was mostly disappointed with the chimpanzee, as it's my favourite animal, and I had to buy gems to complete the collection.
