I'm connected to internet but game thinks I'm not

I have an iOS (3gs) version 6.1.3
game version 2.0.2

Often when I open the game or even more so when I'm in the middle of doing an action in the game I get that window that pops up that says this is an online game and you must be connected to the internet. I play with 3g signal and I know I have not lost signal. I get that window quite often and sometimes it lasts for so long that my crops wither causing me to lose all that money I paid for the crops and then having to clear them and plow again :'(

Have you tried playing Farm Story on Wifi? If so, do you have problems on there? Also you might try updating to iOS 7 to see if that will fix your issue? Please let us know. Thanks!
