    Post How to CLOSE restaurant

Is there a way to close your restaurant if you are going to be away for extended periods of time? For instance...overnight. How do you get people to stop coming?

Just put a piece of furniture in front of the door. This will stop people being able to enter. Also keep in mind what you are cooking, so that food on your stoves etc wont spoil before you are able to get back to your restaurant. Food served up onto your counters wont spoil, only stuff cooking will. Also, if you are cooking something keep in mind that it takes the same amount of cooking time for it to spoil... so if it takes 6 hours to cook, it will take approx another 6 hours before it will spoil. Hope that all helps.

One important thing to note, food that has been served onto counters while your restaurant is "closed" will still disappear. You'll also get paid a fraction of what's it's worth.

For restaurant story 2 food will not disappear if you put the order booth blocking the door!!!
For restaurant story 1 food will not disappear by putting anything blocking the door.

Closing your restaurant is not part of the design of the game. Blocking the door can cause glitches like quick sales.
To avoid issues, please do not block your door.

    Thanks!
