I FINALLY got it!! After two days solid of trying, I again put ruby and dino to breed (for, I swear, the billionth time!) and got 12 hrs!

Cynical ol' me thought it was ANOTHER dino/pterodactyl/ 3 horn, but NO!!!

Same here I got my Rex dragon right after my 2nd Dino dragon....Dino + Dino = Rex Dragon 4me ツ

Yaaay i got it using dino/pterodactyl only 1 dino fail few fire fails and like 15 forests...was going for rex/tricerarops

I've been using Dino/Triceratops for a while now and I mostly have been getting Pterodactyl.
I think I'll give your combo a try next.
