It's 7.30pm Thursday the 21st. Is the Amethyst Dagon coming out or not?
Unless you've been playing on iOS for months and have escorted droves of Magics through the portal, your only reasonable way to this dragon is either a trade of super-rare purple hybrids or a straight gold purchase. If you don't already have the stones, trading out Magics now is not gonna get you the materials any time soon.
The un-sped conversion time of 20 Magic dragons into 2 large amethysts is 1352 hours. 66 hours for each Magic (20 in den, 20 on nest, 20 in temple, 6 in portal) and 16 in spell-shop for each large amethyst: (20x66) + (2x16) = 1352. That's over 56 days! Consider also that you will need more than just the large gemstones for the recipe. That's an immense amount of time and effort for one dragon.
Forget the Magics. It's super-rare trades or pure hard gold for this dragon.
I've gotten several large amethysts from trading Mistmoths, Aethers, and a Planet. Much better that way. While people are trying to get the newest dragons, they should just throw a purple into the mix for the possibility of a super rare purple dragon.
That's what I've been doing. Before Black was released, I was breeding light and pink to get more of those gemstones. Now I have enough Pearls, so once I get Easter, I'll be breeding Black and Pink. Luckily, I got an extra Goblin giving me a large Onyx.
Oh i'm sure you'll get a few extra Aether and Mishmoth trying for these new black hybrids lol. Still waiting for this, hurry up please!
Should be out in about an hour and a half, if they stick with the usual release time.
