Remove 2012 Holiday Content

This is ridiculous! I thought we could keep things We'd levelled to 4! I've lost all Christmas content and recipes!! All the toast stuff I had at 4, and its gone. And all my Christmas things from last year (Yule log, holiday cupcake that I'd unlocked, and mince pies that i hadn't) have dissaperared too!

Why couldn't there have been a list? Or just leave most of it in?

If you unlocked a recipe with a goal, then you for sure better be able to keep it!

Why is it SO difficult to tell us WHICH recipes YOU consider "holiday" or not?? Why is that so hard to do? Why can nobody answer the TONS of questions about that? People are panicked and confused because nobody knows WHICH ones you will remove! People have widely different opinions as to what is "holiday" or not. Plus some recipes that could be considered "holiday" have been in the game since the beginning or just for a very long time, so nobody knows WHICH will be removed, it's very, very UNCLEAR and confusing!! Especially with only a few days notice! WHY is that such a difficult question? PLEASE just help us with the recipes!!

It would be SO much easier, clearer, much more player-friendly AND much, much more professional if you made a recipe list. OR even better, since thousands of players don't come on to the forums, tell us IN the recipe books, put a little STAR or CHECK-MARK or something on each recipe that will be removed, that is considered holiday TO YOU, BUT give us 30 DAYS NOTICE from when those marks show up! Kind of like your little "New" bubble on items, just put a little mark on each recipe that will be removed. And give us more than a few days time to master them. Many players only have a handful of appliances, how can they master long recipes in a couple days? Especially since you gave us new goals at the SAME TIME?!?! How can ppl do both the goals AND master holiday recipes?? Not possible!!

Deco type items are MUCH easier to determine... recipes are NOT, because not all the recipes you remove appear to be holiday related. So please just tell us WHICH ones you plan to remove, and give us PROPER time to master them. It's great that you want to add new stuff and we even understand the need to 'make room'... but I doubt you are adding THAT much new stuff next week... so give us a little more time AND a proper list of recipes! Go ahead and remove the deco stuff on the 7th, most people get that... but give us more time on recipes PLEASE and help people know WHICH to cook!!

Especially considering they said they were pulling holiday items from 2012 but they pulled things like the valentines cookies and egg nog which have been in the game since 2010!! What they have done is so wrong. I haven't mastered recipes like that yet cause I figured they would be there forever like they had been. There is not a stitch of enjoyment left in these games as of right now. They need to rectify this monumental mistake ASAP!

All of the holiday items will be removed from the Market, not just the Winter ones. Definitely make the most of it while you can. We have to clear out old items to make room for the new ones in the coming year.

Why couldn't they slowly remove items while they slowly release them? They pulled 2 years worth of stuff from us, and a few from 2010, but we'll only be getting a few news things weekly...

Valentine's Day cookies is still in Valentine edition 2012 for Bakery Story. The Yule log, mince pies are still there. I went to download all the past editions for Bakery and Fashion. But I have to master my Valentine cookies before TL comes up with a new version of Valentine next month.

Hey guys, looks like there was some issues overnight when the holiday items were removed.

Since there are tons of threads, I am starting up a new report thread so I can send this over to the community managers to find out if the removed unlocked receipes were removed by design or by accident.

If you are missing receipes that you had already unlocked , please post
the platform you play on(apple, android or kindle fire) and the name of the receipe
you are missing.

Please note, that this thread is only for members that have lost one of these receipes.
I want to keep the thread clean and get a list together before the community managers come on, so any posts that are not giving information on the missing receipes will be removed as off topic.

Note: I am showing the red velvet cookies on the regular stove under the Christmas bakery game. I am not seeing it under the regular bakery game.

List:

Android. Candy canes on the candy cane maker. It wasn't a locked recipe but one on a seasonal appliance, which should also stay.

Android 2.3.6. On Bakery Story: Regular, I am missing Red Velvet Cookies, Chocolate Cherry Trifle, PB Chocolate Cake,Holiday Waffles, Heart Toast ,Brawny Muffins ,Well-Done Toast ,Cherry Muffins, and Peppermint Mocha. I have all these recipes on Bakery Story: Christmas.
All of these recipes except for the Well-Done Toast and the Cherry Muffins, I have mastered.

I don't think mastered recipes are coming back, only unlocked GOAL recipes and perhaps recipes on special appliances.

The Red Velvet Cookies have been added back to your regular Oven. You may need to force-close and restart your app to see them again. Any seasonal items/recipes which you have unlocked should also available to you once again.

Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication with the Game Teams and recipes which were mastered will not be coming back at this time. I apologize for passing along that information! In regards to these specific recipes which were removed, please do provide us with some constructive feedback. We did bring back some of your favorite Christmas 2011 items this past year, so let us know what your favorite recipes were. No guarantees it will return to the game, but we will definitely pass along the more popular requests. Again, sorry!

Again, doesn't look like we'll get back mastered recipes.
