Hey American Idol starts tonight.
I thought I would start up a thread so maybe we can start predicting who will win.
Each week we can bring some snacks and talk about all the contestants and the judges.

I haven't seen American Idol in years!

Simon was definitely a busy man; started X Factor in 2004 while doing American Idol.

I'm in Australia. So thank goodness channel TEN is fast tracking the show to our Aussies' TV just hours after it shows in the US! LOL. I've got this really old American Idol clapper toy thing. Apparently there's this trigger and when you push it, the two hands start clapping... Lol. I guess I'll be bringing that to the TV and start clapping with that clapper, also I'll bring some popcorn. Lol.

After watching the show tonight I was disappointed! A couple of good singers but the judges was the disappointment! I think Nikki is just soooo rude. Terribly rude to Mariah! She just does not belong on that panel of judges! She always has to have all the attention! You can tell Mariah is somewhat intimidated and she just wasn't herself. Keith was just so bland...course he really couldn't get a word in with nikkis mouth going! But when he did speak he just didn't have much to offer. And Randy was just like WTH is going on. I miss Jennifer and Steven!!! If the rest of the shows are like tonight's I doubt I will continue watching!...and I've watched allll of them! So disappointed! Can't wait to hear the reviews tomorrow on the show. I don't think many will be good.

I really miss Steven Tyler! I think he has been one of my favs.

Not too many good auditions tonight. No one made my list tonight.

Anyway I'm glad Nicki Minaj is apart of American idol this year. I Support her 100%

I liked Simon bc he may have been a little rude but he told the truth. Also is did like Jenifer. I don't like Randy.

Mariah touches me. She is so nice. XD Randy voices his opinion very loudly, lol. Nicki is ok, though she isn't getting along with Mariah a lot... Keith (an Aussie - yay!), I feel for him. He has to sit right between Mariah & Nicki (they argue way too much, lol).
I agree with KP, not a lot of people's auditions were special that night... No one made my list either.

Some better auditions tonight. The Judges were acting CRAZY. I tell you Keith is a real cutie!!!
