Levels to Unlock Appliances

You know what would be lovely? If I had a list of what levels unlocks the ability to use a new appliance.

I know I unlock the use of 5 appliances at Level 14, and 6 appliances at Level 19.

I realize you can buy the use of another appliance for 24 Gems at any time, but it'd be nice to have a complete list of what levels unlock the ability to use another appliance for those who don't want to spend USD on Gems. ^_^


So, starting out:

2 appliances = Level 0 (or 1?)
3 appliances = Level 4 (?)
4 appliances = Level 9 (?)
5 appliances = Level 14
6 appliances = Level 19
7 appliances = Level __
8 appliances = Level __
9 appliances = Level __
10 appliances = Level __
11 appliances = Level __
12 appliances = Level __
13 appliances = Level __
14 appliances = Level __
15 appliances = Level __
16 appliances = Level __
17 appliances = Level __
18 appliances = Level __

(I've heard that there's an 18-appliance maximum, at least for those who don't want to pay gems.)


I do believe we're given 2 appliances when we first start, at either Level 0 or 1, if I recall correctly.

Judging by the fact that there's a 5-level difference between Levels 14 and 19, which I do know for sure unlocks the use of 5 and 6 appliances, I guesstimated that the 3 and 4 appliance usage was at Levels 4 and 9 (because I don't remember :P).

Or must I assert that you unlock the ability to use another appliance every 5 levels you complete?

Semi-related question:

If you pay 24 Gems to get a new appliance, does that count toward the unlocking?

For example - say you're at level 24, and you have 7 appliances. If you buy the use of another for 24 Gems, you now have 8 appliances. However, when you reach level 28, are you only allowed to use those 8 appliances? Or are you now allowed to use 9 appliances, since you bought one with Gems?

So, I guess I'm asking if the appliance slots bought with Gems are counted in the appliances slots per level.

... i.e. When you spend 24 Gems for another appliance is it:
{# appliances per level} + {appliance slot bought with Gems}
OR
can you only have {# appliances per level} and buying an appliance slot with Gems just mean you're paying to get {# appliances per level} earlier, which then cancels out when you reach the next level?

If you unlock an appliance for gems, this will be an extra appliance you can have out. So If you have 7 appliances and buy one with gems, then you can have 8 appliances out.

Yes, you'll always have that extra slot. Once you reach the last level that offers you the 18th appliance, you'll actually have 19 slots available to you because you unlocked a slot with gems.
