Remove friends?

I have a number of friends who have gone inactive. Is there any way to remove them?

I would also like the facility to be able to remove neighbours as I spend time watering and expect to be watered back.

There is no way to do this as yet in game but, given the number of requests for this feature, I'd say that it won't be long before it makes it in.
