Can't play Farm Story because iphone want's itunes-ID every few seconds

Since purchasing some gems - first in-app-purchase at all - and after the long manintenance lately, whenever I try to play Farm Story, the request for the password for my itunes-ID pops up every few seconds (but not when the app is not running). It's not possible to play that way. I never had the problem before on my iphone 3gs with iOS 4.2.1. Nothing else has changed. I already tried switching off in-app-purchases as well as logging out of my itunes-account and logging in again, but to no avail. I thought of uninstalling the app and reinstall it afterwards, but I don?t know, what happens to my farm then and frankly I doubt, that it will help.

If you uninstall/reinstall your farm's stats will be saved. I'd try that, it usually fixes little glitches like this.
